Yesssss! That’s ’Blowing Bubbles In The Bath’ by Davey Malone and is what absolutely enthralled me when I stumbled across his recently disbanded Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs at a festival nearly 15 years ago. And was quite possibly recorded in a pub. Or during one of his lockdown live streams. I’ve not got a clue which video it’s on though.

Nah... Tried finding your video again, but you've made so many (lucky us out here! :-))... I think I saw it a couple of months ago, and you weren't in the pub but at home. The song sounded like it was recorded in a pub though - a really funny guy with a guitar, reminded me in style a bit of Mike Harding, although this guy wasn't from Manchester but more from your part of the world, and a bit ruder. I remember the first verse ended with "And then I went upstairs for a nice relaxing...", he left off the last word, but the rhyme was obvious and the audience roared "Wank!" He said that it sounded like they were commanding him to do it... ;-) Then he continued that "of course" he meant "bath"... :-) And then the song went on about blowing bubbles in the bath, and how you have to be careful that nothing else comes out... Ring a bell?
